It’s no secret: Traditional dentures aren’t perfect. They can become loose, uncomfortable, and shift around while you eat, talk, or smile.
That’s why we offer an alternative restoration. Implant-retained dentures use 2-6 dental implants to secure the full arch of teeth within your mouth.
You’ll eat your favorite foods again, speak clearly, boost your confidence, and significantly improve your quality of life.
Plus, implant-retained dentures preserve bone structure, benefiting your oral health and preventing premature aging.
Are you ready to take back your smile with an affordable, long-lasting solution?
Traditional dentures make eating uncomfortable – even painful – and force you to choose a soft-food diet. But not any longer!
With dental implants, your denture won’t slip, shift around, or fall out. Plus, no more adhesive!
The confidence your implant-retained denture will bring is life-changing. You won’t stop smiling!
Our restorative dentists use modern technology, like digital x-rays and 3D imaging, to ensure the best result and decrease the risk of complications.
We partner with a high-quality lab to custom-design your denture just the way you want it. Bonus: With preserved bone structure, you’ll look younger!
With anesthetic and sedation dentistry options, we’ll make the entire procedure pain-free and easy.
If you have any remaining teeth in your arch, here’s a general overview of what to expect:
Consultation: You’ll meet with one of our Salt Lake City dentists for a consultation. We’ll determine if dentures are right for you and go over all your treatment options – there may be more than dentures.
Exam: Once you decide, we’ll conduct a thorough exam to ensure you don’t have any oral health problems that need to be taken care of first, like gum disease.
Imaging: We’ll take a 3D digital image of your mouth with CBCT technology. This captures your gums, bone, tissues, and nerves to help us determine the best place for your implants.
Customization: We’ll also take an impression and photos to design your custom-made denture. You and your dentist can discuss the smile style you’d like, including the shade of white and tooth shape.
Test fit: Once the denture is made, we’ll have you come back to try it on and make sure it looks beautiful, fits comfortably, and functions harmoniously with your bite.
Place implants: We’ll remove your teeth and place your dental implants. You’ll leave our office wearing your new denture – just not secured to the implants until they’re healed.
Adjustments: After three months of healing, on average, we’ll uncover your implants and make any adjustments to your denture as needed.
Restore smile: Lastly, we’ll attach your denture to your implants. Once you and your dentist are happy with the result, your new smile will be ready to show off!
If you have a denture that isn’t compatible with implants and will need a new one, here’s a preview of what to expect:
